At JLL, I spent six years on two fronts. In Capital Markets I worked exclusively with private wealth investors, on supermarkets, office and logistics assets. In residential, I handled developer relationships, off-plan commercialisation and private client advisory for buyers coming in from London, New York, São Paulo and Dubai.
The analytical tools I built there, yield modelling, comparable transaction analysis, due diligence frameworks, are not typically available to buyers working with standard residential agents. Lisbonest exists to close that gap.
Independent advisory means one thing structurally: I work for the buyer, never for the seller or the developer. Before any visit you know exactly how I am paid and by whom. My incentive is to find the right asset at the right price. Not to move a specific unit, not to hit a developer's sales target, not to recommend what's easiest to sell.
That structural difference changes everything about how the advice is given.
